Public Transport

In many cities and countries around the world, you can use contactless payment cards, or digital wallets like Apple Pay, Samsung Wallet or Google Pay to pay and ride public transport.

This is a list of cities and transport networks that accept contactless cards, or virtual transit cards stored digital wallets.

Some public transport networks may only accept virtual transit cards, and not payment cards (eg, myki in Melbourne), or vice versa.

Listings with Apple Pay either support adding a virtual transit card to Apple Pay, or offer Express Mode support with a regular payment card.

Listings with Google Pay support adding a virtual transit card to Google Pay.

Listings with Samsung Wallet support Transport Card, allowing tapping on and off without authentication.
